Shernan Holtan, MD, Chief, Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Roswell Park in Buffalo, NY is a hematologist and blood and marrow transplant physician who treats patients with leukemia, lymphoma and other blood and bone marrow diseases. Dr. Holtan will share her expertise related to the incredible importance of incorporating exercise post-transplant, especially if chronic graft versus host disease is present. Samantha Lebner, LCSW, at Dana Farber will cover the many psychosocial and emotional needs of cGVHD patients. Additionally, Matt Willen, a survivor of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), from Vermont, will share his experiences and personal perspective regarding exercise post-transplant and how he strives to live life to the fullest. This webinar will be facilitated by Jennifer Gillette, our licensed staff social worker. There will be time for questions and answers following the presentation.
