We’ve done our best to accurately capture and share information presented from our healthcare professional presentations. However, this transcript is meant for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We encourage you to use this information as a helpful conversation tool with your healthcare provider and care team to determine what is appropriate for your personal health situation.

Join us for this month’s call-in program with Heather Knutson MS, RD, CSO, LD, and Carolina Muñoz, RD, CSO, LD, Nutrition Educators at Blood Cancer United. These experts will address the most frequently asked questions about nutrition after cancer and post-transplant, offering practical guidance to help patient and caregivers navigate nutritional challenges, support recovery, and maintain strength and well-being.

We also welcome survivor Brad Buchanan, who was diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma in February 2015, and underwent a stem cell transplant in 2016, which included severe acute Graft-versus-Host disease, (GVHD) a lengthy recovery, and temporary vision loss. Brad is currently in remission and continues to manage chronic GVHD. Brad will share valuable strategies and personal insights related to managing gastrointestinal tract (GI) issues. Jennifer Gillette, staff LMSW, will host our program. Bring your questions. There will be plenty of time for live discussion and audience participation.

If you have any technical issues related to registering, please email peggyburkhard@nbmtlink.org or call (248) 770-5172. The call-in information is contained in the form you use to register.

Note: You call in to participate. (We do not call you.)
