Transforming Sickle Cell Disease Care Through Transplantation and Other Options
National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, in partnership with the National Bone Marrow Transplant Link (nbmtLINK) hosted a free webinar on sickle cell disease transplantation options. Leading researchers Drs. John Tisdale and Courtney Fitzhugh discussed haploidentical and allogeneic transplant efforts to offer curative therapies for patients with sickle cell disease. They were joined by one of their very own patient success stories.
